If the source is already huge, stay on 1× — stretching a large file further rarely helps, and the longest edge after scale must stay within the tool's size limit.

You may still see a slightly cleaner read of lines and flats. If you need a new pose, a new outfit or a new background, that is a different studio page.

Yes. Each run is a Viralkey Studio generation and spends credits from your balance. This tool requires Pro — generation is gated until you upgrade, not a limited free-tier allowance. The exact spend is shown in-product before you confirm. Rerunning the same still at another scale is a new spend.

Use a JPEG, PNG or WebP that still has readable lines. Avoid files that are already covered in a second upscale or a heavy beauty filter — those stacks are hard to undo. A tiny crushed screenshot will not grow ink that was never there. The upload must stay under the size cap shown on the form.

Only upload images you have the right to edit. Do not use the tool for identity fraud, harassment, or to embarrass anyone. Edits involving minors are out of scope. If you do not have permission to change the image, do not run it through the studio.

Finished images are saved to your Viralkey asset library, where you can open them beside the source, download a copy, and keep more than one scale from the same upload.
