Viralkey's magic eraser removes one named element from a photo you already have and fills the gap from the surrounding picture. You upload one still, pick Object, Watermark, Text, Extra person or Logo, and optionally write which instance. The rest of the frame — pose, crop, light and the people you meant to keep — should stay. It is not a transparent cutout and not the Image Enhancer quality pass.

No. Background Remover isolates the subject onto a true transparent background. Magic Eraser keeps a full photograph and only removes the mark you named, reconstructing that patch from neighbouring pixels. Image Enhancer, Image Upscaler, Unblur Images and Denoise AI are a third, shared quality pass. Three jobs. Three pages. You can run them in sequence; each generate is its own spend.

No. This version has no brush, lasso or pin. The chip names the class of thing to erase, and the optional box names the instance when two marks could match. If you cannot describe the target in a short note, crop the photo so only one obvious mark remains, then run again. A painted-mask editor would be a different product.

It is built not to. The instruction is to hold identity, pose, hands, crop and lighting, and to spend the edit on the erased patch. You may still see a slightly cleaner join. If the first take invents a new wall or a different face, the request was broader than the photo can support — tighten the crop or the note and run once more.

Yes. Each run is a Viralkey Studio generation and spends credits from your balance. A limited free tier lets people try the edit before adding more credits; the exact spend is shown in-product before you confirm. Rerunning the same photo with another chip or another note is a new spend. 1k and 2k are the output sizes on this page.

Use a JPEG, PNG or WebP where the thing you want gone is easy to point at. Front light and a simple backdrop help more than a night crowd. Avoid files that are already covered in a second edit or a heavy filter. The upload must stay under the size cap shown on the form. If two marks compete, crop or write which one.

Only upload photos you have the right to edit. Do not remove watermarks you do not own, marks on official documents, or anything intended for impersonation, harassment, or fabricated evidence. Edits involving minors are out of scope. If you do not have permission to change the image, do not run it through the studio.

Finished images are saved to your Viralkey asset library, where you can open them beside the source, download a copy, and keep more than one take from the same upload. Nothing requires a second reference file — one source photo is enough for each run. Check History on the tool page if you want the last stills without leaving the studio.
